Data Deletion Policy
This Data Deletion Policy explains how users can request the removal of their personal information from PostForge systems and how we handle such requests.
1. What Data We Store
PostForge may store the following types of data depending on user interaction with the service:
Account details (name, email address, username)
Uploaded URLs or content used for post generation
Usage logs or analytics required for service improvement
Cookies or device data (for performance + authentication)
We do not permanently store generated content unless explicitly saved by the user.
2. Right to Request Data Deletion
You have the right to request that all personal data associated with your account be deleted. Once the request is verified, we will remove:
Account profile information
Stored website URLs or generated post content
Analytics or behavioural usage data where identifiable
Backups may retain encrypted fragments for a limited time, but will clear automatically through standard retention cycles.
3. How to Request Data Deletion
Users may request data deletion through one of the following methods:

Requests must include:
Your full name
Your account email address
Statement confirming you want your data deleted
Example:
“I request the deletion of my personal data and account associated with [email].”
We will respond within 30 days and notify you when deletion is complete.
4. What Happens After Deletion
Once removal is processed:
Your account will no longer be accessible.
Any stored data will be permanently removed.
This process is irreversible.
If you later return to PostForge, a new account must be created.
